The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi Song Contest Deadline Extended

Members now have until June 13 to submit a song rendition for consideration

All aspiring Sigma Chi artists have a little more time to tune up their rendition of The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi song. The inaugural Sweetheart of Sigma Chi Song Contest deadline has been extended to Monday, June 13.

The Sweetheart of Sigma Chi song will turn 100 this October. To honor this occasion, the Fraternity will choose one brother to serenade the incoming international sweetheart at the 2011 Grand Chapter Sweetheart Reception on June 24 at the downtown Dallas Sheraton Hotel during the 78th Grand Chapter.

To enter the contest, submit a song rendition via a YouTube video, an mpeg or QuickTime video on a DVD, a CD or a jump drive. Label the entry with the following title: 100 Years Sweetheart of Sigma Chi Song Serenade Contest.

The entry title should not include your name in or on the video. YouTube videos can be e-mailed to GC@sigmachi.org, while CDs/DVDs/jump drives can be mailed to:
