Create a Video for the 2011 Sigma Chi Recruitment Video Contest

Create a short film to promote recruitment and the Fraternity

Create a short film to serve as a recruitment tool, promoting membership in Sigma Chi Fraternity. The theme for 2011 is Life Loyal Leadership. Your short film may be from 1 to 5 minutes in length and can be in any video format–Mpeg, AVI Quicktime, etc. Films must be suitable for all audiences (appropriate for all ages) and must not display any alcohol, alcohol products or consumption of alcohol. There are no restrictions on the art form of your film. Live action, animation, claymation, still photography or any combination are welcome. Be as creative as you want to be! For the official contest entry form, click here. The winning films may appear in local media venues, be made available on Sigma Chi Fraternity websites, or distributed to member chapters. Scholarship prizes will be awarded to the designated chapter of the creator(s). The first-place contestent will receive $500 and two runners-up will each receive $250.

Once we receive your e-mail contact, you will be assigned a mentor and given further instructions regarding how to submit your video for consideration. Your mentor will review your project and give you feedback. The final piece must be submitted by May 1, 2011.
